you say "contemplate this" and i say- do you know how hard that is?
of course, you probably do- but i dont think i do. you see i have trouble attaching my brain to my heart. im what you would call disassociated- and so when i think about jesus on the cross, my head tries to wrap around it- and my heart reaches out to grab hold...but then the trap door swings shut...
but perhaps i will spend to thinking about jesus on the cross...even thous he's off now...but to really celebrate that i should see him on it.
if you have a spare moment, feel free to pray for my heart to be torn open and my...self to feel.
i think im really ready for god's heart...

I will pray for you. I think that contemplating Jesus on the cross should lead us to understanding more of his deep, deep love for us. It is a bitter sweet revelation. Both because we know the ending (we even look at the cross from the light of the ressurection) BUT also because we know that He layed down His life for us... so that NO ONE would perish. Praise the Lord. Let this contemplation leave you FULL of the deep, deep love of God.
