My husband says the salute means:
I'm on my way to heaven, and I'm doing everything I can to get everyone I can to join me.
My son agrees. :-)

It would be funny if there was a new wave of the Salut with giving the devil the finger.
Do you think we should try it?
I accidentally / on purpose / for jokes' sake flipped off a TYS once (part of an illustration). Happily, he thought it was funny.
